*Typical Grade level would be in a traditional sense. Any student is welcome to join a class providing they have the maturity of that
specific class as well as the basic math skills. Grade levels above are for guidelines.

**Text. The text listed is what the majority of the students will use, however since the labs are presented as an independent subject, with
no reference to specific text's, any reference will work for background information and course work. See schedule for specific science
class.
Biology    Most common High School Science class taken. Class will study 5 Kingdoms: Monera, Plantea, Fungi. Protista and Animalia; Cellular Biology,
        Ecology and Human Biology.
 ... More

Chemistry    The class will follow the "traditional" sequence (see schedule) with observational and experimental activities.   ... More

Physics   The class will study classical mechanics, energy, light, sound, magnetism and electronics. The class is not a calculus based class, but math is
used on nearly every lab activity.

Physical Science   The class covers a basic study of oceanography, geology, physics and chemistry. Even though, it is not a life science, reference will
be made to living things frequently (since living organisms follow the physical laws of science)
  ... More

Marine Biology   The class covers the topics of Biology, but focus's on those that live in the marine environment or require this environment to live.
The class also studies the unique physical science of the ocean where these organisms live. San Diego is the best place to learn Marine Biology
because of the close proximity of the ocean and some of the world's best research facilities and attractions.

Electronics   The class will learn general electronics from the basic term "electron" to fairly complex circuits. All of the main electronic components, both
analog and digital, will be studied. Practical skills will be taught in circuit board design, manufacturing, component attachment  (soldering and
testing).By the end of the class, students should be able to design and build a simple circuit, from concept to product. Depending on the students
enrolled and their abilities,  micro-controlers and robotics may also be studied toward the end of the school year.
 ...More

General Science    The subject covers a little of everything to include human biology, geology, cells, chemistry, physics, and more        ... More

Fun Science   This is a class that covers fun topics in science that is put together by the parents and instructor before class begins.
